Your business is growing. Are your processes growing with it?
I help companies improve their processes structurally and, where needed, also build the digital solution. So they can deliver on their customer promise and are ready to grow.
Sound familiar?
Growth is great, but it brings challenges you did not always see coming.
What worked yesterday no longer works today. More customers means more exceptions, more mistakes and increasingly dissatisfied customers. Your team works harder but the result does not improve.
Every day starts with the best intentions but ends with ad-hoc fixes. Structural improvements keep getting pushed to 'tomorrow'. Meanwhile the workarounds keep piling up.
You know it can be better but your team is fully tied up in operations. Improvement initiatives start with good intentions but fade away through a lack of time, knowledge or priority. The result: frustration and standstill.
You lack insight into how your operation really performs. Without reliable data and clear figures, decisions are made on instinct. As a result you do not know where the biggest gains are and problems stay invisible.
Employees spend hours on repetitive tasks that a system could do faster and without errors. Processes run on manual steps, Excel sheets and workarounds, because the systems have not grown along with the company. While it could be smarter and simpler.
You have plans to grow, to professionalise or to take a next step but your processes hold you back. The daily operation swallows all your energy.
How can I help?
The problems above are not unique. They come with growth. But they do not solve themselves. Just as you bring in an accountant to keep a grip on your figures, you can bring in a process improver to get a grip on your processes.
That is what I do. I am Bram Schonenberg, a process improver with more than 10 years of experience, mainly in logistics and e-commerce processes. As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt I learned to tackle problems in a structured way: finding root causes, recognising waste and unnecessary complexity, and making results measurable. Not on gut feeling. That way of thinking works in any industry.
And I do not stop at advice. Where needed, I also build the digital solution that makes the improvement work. Always in that order: first decide what needs to improve in the process, and only then choose whether that calls for a process change, existing software, automation, custom software or AI. Technology is a means, never the goal.
The result? Less manual work, fewer errors, shorter lead times and more control. Improvements that last, and room again to do business and grow.
Pragmatic
No thick reports that end up in a drawer. I focus on solutions that work in practice, and help to actually deliver them.
Open and transparent
I am honest about what I find, even when it is not what you want to hear. You always know where you stand. In my findings, my advice and my way of working.
Structured
I look for the real cause first, not the quickest patch. That way you solve the problem instead of the symptom.
Data-driven
I start by measuring, not by assuming. By mapping the current situation with data and analysis we know exactly where the biggest gains are and can prove afterwards that it works.
From process problem to working solution
Many improvements stall as soon as something needs to be built or changed. The business speaks a different language than the developers who build it, and information gets lost in translation.
That is why I keep process and technology in one hand. Not by automating the existing way of working one-to-one, but by improving the process first and then making the software fit that improved process and the people who work with it.
Process improvement
Getting clear on what really goes wrong, and why.
The right solution
Process change, existing software, automation, custom software or AI. Whatever the problem calls for.
Delivery
I build the solution myself, with nothing lost between process and technology.
Adoption
Your team helps shape it, tests it and is taken along in the rollout.
Lasting improvement
Measuring whether the process demonstrably works better, and adjusting where needed.
